OHI:YO’ We’re Still Here

The Great Circle Alliance Group Exhibition was created in response to our residency in 2024. Three of us citizens from the removed Native nations that were from the Ohio Territory visited Hopewell Ceremonial Earthworks. Each of us visited for the first time, and shared in the experience of walking in the places our ancestors helped create.

My artwork is a reflection of emotions and layers of connection to the land of my ancestors. I created 4 self-portraits and 3 nature photographs to share these. Each art photograph is framed in a custom made Red Oak Octagon frame my husband built for me.
